Service Delivery

Council is grateful to the Government of Zimbabwe for the motorized grader allocated to Mazowe Rural District Council. A total of 300km of road have been graded. In addition a total of 5 385m2 of tar patching was covered in Christon Bank, Glendale and Concession Townships. With the recently procured tar baby for tar spraying, more roads are going to be maintained in Mazowe District.

Water is being supplied adequately in four out of the five townships in the District. With respect to boreholes, four out of five are functioning in Tungubvi, one stadium borehole in Dandamera is not functioning, and in Nzvimbo Township one borehole at the clinic is functioning. In Mazowe Township ZINWA boreholes and private boreholes are supplying water. As for Christon Bank Township, water is supplied by private boreholes.
